      Miracast / AirPlay requirements

      Required settings and ports for screen sharing for Miracast and AirPlay

      Miracast

      Miracast needs certain ports to be open for a functional experience.

      • The following ports need to be accessible:
        • Port Type Data
          7236 TCP RTSP
          50000 TCP UIBC

          51570

          		 UDP RTP

          51571

          		 TCP RTCP

      • %systemroot%\system32\WUDFHost.exe

        Should be allowed to run and have access to the 7236 port

      • Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy

        • Prevent connections to infrastructure networks - Unchecked

        • Allow everyone to create all user profiles - Checked

        • Don't allow Wi-Fi Direct groups - Unchecked

      AirPlay

      • Both devices must be on the same network/accessible through mDNS
      • MacOS AirPlay needs certain ports to be accessible:
      Port Type Data
      5353 UDP mDNS
      7000 UDP AirPlay
      7100 TCP Data
      18000-18009 TCP/UDP RTP/RTSP
