End of Life (EOL) and Cloud Service Closure
Overview
FlatFrog has decided to discontinue the FlatFrog Board and TeamTablet Flex products. These products will reach End of Life (EOL) on April 30, 2026.
As a consequence of the End of Life (EOL), all associated cloud-connected services will be shut down on the same date. After April 30, 2026, the online service and cloud whiteboard functionality will no longer be available.

Why are the cloud service closing, and how long will they be available?
FlatFrog is closing the cloud services as a result of the products reaching End of Life (EOL).
Cloud services and online whiteboards will remain available until April 30, 2026.
After this date, cloud-dependent functionality will no longer be available.
What will happen after the cloud services are closed?
Once the cloud services are closed:

FlatFrog Board for Web will no longer be accessible.

FlatFrog Board for Windows will no longer function.

FlatFrog Board Airgapped will not be impacted by the cloud service closure; however, license renewal will no longer be available.
- FlatFrog Board Airgapped does not rely on cloud services and will continue to operate locally until the applicable license expires. Continued functionality may be affected by future operating system updates or other third-party software changes, which are outside of FlatFrog’s control.

TeamTablet Flex will no longer be able to connect to the TeamTablet cloud service.

TeamTablet Flex can continue to be used in offline mode with a reduced feature set (see section Using TeamTablet Flex without a cloud connection below).

- Features that require online authentication, cloud storage, or cloud collaboration will no longer function.
How do I save my boards? (Export as PDF)
Before the cloud services are closed, we strongly recommend exporting any boards you wish to retain.
Export a board as PDF

Open the board you wish to export at flatfrogboard.com.

Select the Hamburger Menu in the top left corner.

Choose Download.

Save the file as a PDF to your local device or preferred storage location.
Important: Boards that are not exported before April 30, 2026 may no longer be accessible after the cloud services are shut down.
Using TeamTablet Flex without a cloud connection (Offline mode)
After the cloud services are closed, TeamTablet Flex can continue to be used without a cloud connection. Available functionality depends on the activity performed.
You can enable offline mode by:
Go to Settings → Whiteboard and turn OFF Cloud Saving and Collaboration.

Available in Offline Mode
Start screen and device settings (server/settings)
The device will still boot normally and allow access to:

Start screen

Local device settings
-
Network settings (even if cloud access is unavailable)
-
Basic configuration menus
Local offline whiteboard (reduced feature set)
TeamTablet Flex can continue to be used as a local whiteboard, but with a reduced feature set compared to the full cloud-connected experience.
Typical limitations in offline mode may include:

No cloud saving or synchronization
-
No cross-device collaboration
-
No access to cloud board libraries or history
Screen sharing
TeamTablet Flex can still be used for screen sharing in offline environments, depending on your local setup and available input methods. Both Miracast and AirPlay will remain functional.
Video meeting and HDMI input
TeamTablet Flex can continue to be used as a display and collaboration surface with:

Video meeting scenarios using MTR bars (if supported by your local setup) with touch control

Standard HDMI input with touch control
Support and updates
Will FlatFrog provide updates for FlatFrog Board for Web, FlatFrog Board for Windows, FlatFrog Board Airgapped, or TeamTablet Flex?
No. FlatFrog will not release any additional software updates for these products.
This includes:

No bug fixes
-
No new features
-
No security patches
-
No firmware or device improvements
What support will be available?
FlatFrog will provide limited support related to:

General End of Life (EOL) guidance
-
Instructions for exporting or saving boards prior to shutdown
FlatFrog will not provide:
-
Bug fixes or advanced troubleshooting
-
Changes, updates, or fixes to the software
-
Recovery of cloud boards after the cloud services are shut down

When contacting support, please include:

Your organization name

If applicable, your TeamTablet Flex device details (serial number if available)

Description of the request (export help, offline mode usage, etc.)
